"Shadow Of A Flame" is a supplemental collection to "Sacred Spring". It is a group of pieces that were created during the same sessions that begat "Sacred Spring" during the spring of 2020. All three of the unique pieces were heavily considered for the "Sacred Spring" album, but didn't end up on there with consideration to flow and mood. There are also two pieces which are on "Sacred Spring" but are here in elongated form. Because the pieces are made using generative techniques, the pieces can technically be of any duration. While working on all of these pieces, I would normally export them between 9 and 12 minutes in length just to be able to sit with them for longer stretches and to feel the ins and outs of what they had to offer as the various elements mingled in different combinations. I thought I would offer that experience for a couple of tracks that, to me, are better suited for longer listens.
